The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is observed on 17 May every year in order to celebrate diversity and to raise awareness of LGBTIQ rights violentions.

LGBTIQ is the initialism of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/transsexual, intersex and queer/questioning. Frequently, they experience  violence acts and shockingly high levels of sexual abuses. Transgender people are subjected to punishments in at least 26 countries.

As Achim Steiner, Administrator of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) claims: "On this day, let’s raise our voices and recommit our efforts to put human dignity at the heart of all that we do to build more just and more inclusive societies".

Reflect on it and share the message! Stop discrimination and violence acts
toward sexuality or gender identity!
